Kris began his accounting
career working at Davis, Kinard and Co. in 1985. He began his own firm in 1986 and merged with McCurdy, Stewart and Associates,
P.C. in 1989. Kris is the president and sole-stockholder in McCurdy, Stewart & Southward, P.C.
Kris has been
married to Karen since 1985 and has 3 children - Katelyn, Karaline and Karli. He has served, or is currently serving, on
numerous boards (Abilene Preservation League (past treasurer), Key City Kiwanis Club (treasurer), Rescue the Animals (past
treasurer), Abilene Firefighter's Pension Board, Taylor County Republican Party (past treasurer), Hispanic Leadership
Council (past treasurer), Abilene Business and Estate Planning Council (past president), Taylor County Expo Center). He was
elected to 2 three-year terms on the Abilene City Council (2000 and 2003). He coached his daughters' soccer and basketball
teams and has been a weekly driver for Meals on Wheels since 1991. He also serves as an Elder at the University Church of
Christ.

Linda joined the firm in December, 1999 after having worked
in private industry as a financial accounting supervisor for a defense contractor and an international
manufacturer. She later joined a state agency as an internal auditor.
Linda prepares all of the payroll reports for our clients, all of the 990's for our non-profit
clients, all of the after-the-fact bookkeeping, and many of the personal tax returns that we prepare.
Linda married
John in 2007 and has two step children - Drew and Chelsea. She is active in her community having served on elections
committees for the Hamby Water Board, updates files for the Hamby Cemetery, and serves as Treasurer of Hamby Baptist Church.
